Maker(Maker)
Maker A trading participant who submits an order that is not filled immediately, but instead leaves it in the order book to await matching later.
What is a Maker
When you submit an order and it is not immediately matched with an existing order, the order remains in the order book, waiting for another participant to come and match it later. At this point, you are the Maker in this trade, which can be understood as the party providing an order awaiting execution to the market.
How to determine
To determine whether you are a Maker, the key is whether the order is filled immediately. If the order remains in the order book after submission and awaits matching, the submitter is a Maker; if it is immediately matched with an existing order, it does not meet the definition of a Maker on this page. This describes the order status, not a fixed user identity.
