Duncan Chiu says Hong Kong's digital asset licensing regulations are planned for submission in the second half of the year, with passage sought before early next year
Duncan Chiu said that Hong Kong's new licensing regulations covering virtual asset trading, custody and other activities are planned to be submitted to the Legislative Council in the second half of 2026 and passed before early 2027.
