Visa A survey of 14,250 consumers in Asia-Pacific shows that 46%of respondents said they may use stablecoins in the coming 5 year, while 49%believe they may become a common method for cross-border remittances. Only 6%of respondents correctly understand how they work.
The Visa and CoinShares surveys showed that Asia-Pacific consumers’ willingness to use stablecoins in the future is increasing, while affluent investors in multiple markets already hold digital assets and plan to increase their allocations over the next 2026 years.
Visa reported that if stablecoins offered bank-like fraud protection and deposit insurance, U.S. consumers’ willingness to use them for cross-border transfers could rise from 36% to 56%.
