Runway releases robotics model Praxis-1, saying internet-video pretraining approaches specialized data in object-placement tests
Beating AI reports that Runway has released its robotics model Praxis-1, and says that after pretraining on internet video, its mean error across 93 object-placement evaluations was 16.1 cm, approaching the 16.0 cm achieved with specialized teleoperation data. The model is open for early-testing applications, and its weights are planned for release in the coming months.
