PANews, citing The Wall Street Journal, said U.S. Treasuries were sold off, with 10-year and 30-year yields reaching multi-year intraday highs as the market repriced long-term U.S. fiscal and inflation risks.
The report said the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield returned to 5% without triggering a sharp sell-off. Several institutional figures believe valuation pressure on risk assets could increase if high yields persist over the long term.
