NEAR Governance approves proposal to reduce the maximum annual issuance rate, pending review and protocol upgrade implementation
House of Stake has voted to approve a proposal to reduce the NEAR maximum annual issuance rate from 2.5%in stages to 1.6%, with the goal of completion within 24 months. The changes remain subject to security review, a grace period, and a validator protocol upgrade.
