Getty Images files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, plans prepackaged restructuring and privatization
PANews, citing Bloomberg, reported that Getty Images has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and has reached a restructuring support agreement. It plans to bring in new funding and go private through a prepackaged restructuring.
