U.S.CFTC Chair Advances Voluntary Federal Registration Pathway for Crypto Exchanges
CFTC Chair Mike Selig said that, while Congress has yet to advance relevant legislation,CFTC is advancing a voluntary federal registration pathway for crypto exchanges and argues that crypto markets should be subject to protective mechanisms comparable to those of U.S. derivatives markets.
