Anthropic completes migration away from Git with its self-developed version control system Scion, with daily code merges exceeding 30000 times
Anthropic said it used 5 months to fully migrate its monorepo away from Git, increasing average daily code merges from approximately 2500 to more than 30000. Scion reduced related infrastructure resource consumption by approximately 200 times and shortened code retrieval times to several seconds.
