Official French data: 2026 year, as of August mid-90 recorded cases of crypto-asset-related violence
Data from France’s Interior Ministry showed that from January 1, 2026 through August mid-90 France recorded cases involving crypto-asset kidnapping, extortion, threats, and violent robbery. From January through July a total of 223 people were arrested and 126 people were imprisoned.
