Claude Code Adds MCP Tasks and Elicitations support; still in public beta
Anthropic announced Claude Code support for MCP Tasks and Elicitations, enabling long-running tasks to be managed and users to be questioned during execution. This feature is currently in public beta and requires CLI 2.1.304 or later and an adapted MCP server.
