Anthropic launches OSS Scanner and a critical-infrastructure defense program; over the past 6 months, it used AI to identify more than 29000 suspected vulnerabilities in open-source software and opened unreviewed reports to maintainers of eligible projects.
Anthropic report says GLM-5.3 can autonomously develop exploit chains; Zhipu subsequently released OpenVuln data, saying it has checked 389 open-source projects and found 4249 potential vulnerabilities.
