SOON Foundation stated that the svmBNB and SOON Mainnet cross-chain bridges experienced abnormal withdrawals; services have been suspended and an investigation launched. The scale of the assets involved and the losses have not been disclosed.
A VergeX user said that funds were transferred out after receiving consecutive withdrawal verification-code emails. Team member Tintin said that only a small number of users were affected, with the maximum loss being approximately 850 USDT, and said compensation would be completed within 72 hours.
