Terms50 shown

51% AttackA situation in which malicious actors gain control of most of the network's hash power, potentially threatening blockchain operations.
51% attackAlso known as a majority attack, this refers to an attack in which the attacker controls more than half of the blockchain network’s hashing power and may disrupt consensus, transaction confirmation, or carry out double-spending.
ApeChainA Layer blockchain network built on Arbitrum and powered by ApeCoin, 3 designed to reduce transaction costs for participants in the Ape ecosystem.
Atomicals ProtocolAn open-source system for creating UTXO static or dynamic digital objects on blockchains that adopt the model.
B-TokenBinance’s official name for a series of fully collateralized wrapped tokens, each B-Token representing a transferable version of the original asset on other compatible blockchains.
BEP-1155A multi-token standard for BNB Smart Chain that can manage fungible tokens and NFT in a single smart contract.
BEP-2Original BNB The historical standard for issuing and managing tokens on the Beacon Chain, which has been retired in the Fusion process.
BEP-20BNB A token standard on Smart Chain that enables bStocks to be transferred and used in compatible wallets and on-chain applications.
BEP-682Used to reject duplicate validator counting in cross-chain signature verification, ensuring that the signature threshold is met by a sufficient number of genuine validators.
BEP-721Defines the standard for BNB creating and using non-fungible tokens (NFT) on Chain.
BEP-95An BNB improvement proposal for Chain to introduce a real-time burn mechanism for block fuel fees BNB.
BNBBNB is BNB Chain's native cryptocurrency and utility token, used for fees, staking, and interaction with on-chain applications.
BNB ChainA decentralized blockchain ecosystem for the Web3 economy, infrastructure, and services.
BNB Chain Pasteur hard forkBNB A network rules upgrade on Smart Chain focused on enhancing cross-chain and validator governance security and increasing block transaction capacity.
BNB Beacon Chain (BNB Beacon Chain）BNB one of the predecessors of Chain, primarily serving as the governance layer for staking and voting, and adopting BEP-2 token standard.
BNB Smart Chain(BSC)and BNB a blockchain launched in parallel with the Beacon Chain, serving as EVM a compatibility layer supporting smart contracts, DApps, and DeFi services.
BRC-20An experimental standard for minting and transferring fungible tokens on the Bitcoin blockchain using the Ordinals protocol.
BUIDLRefers to the practical spirit of developers and builders who continue investing in the blockchain industry and focus on developing innovative applications.
BlockchainA decentralized digital ledger that records cryptocurrency transaction information in chronological order.
BscScanBNB Chain's block explorer, which can be used to verify BEP-20 token's contract address.
Burner walletA cryptocurrency wallet used for small, temporary on-chain interactions, primarily to isolate potential risks from the main wallet and most assets.
Chain AbstractionA design approach that simplifies cross-chain interactions, so agents and users do not need to handle the technical differences between multiple blockchains.
Cross-chain bridgesBy locking assets on one chain and issuing their corresponding representation on another, value can move across networks.
DAppDecentralized applications, which developers can BNB create on Chain-related networks.
DYORAn abbreviation for “Do Your Own Research,” referring to independently verifying information such as the team, audits, token unlocks, and on-chain signals.
DeFiA decentralized financial system that conducts activities such as lending and swapping through blockchain protocols.
DePINA decentralized physical infrastructure network that uses blockchain technology for physical infrastructure such as energy, supply chains, and transportation.
ERC-721An Ethereum standard defining interfaces for uniquely identifiable non-fungible tokens and on-chain ownership records.
EigenLayerA project built on the Ethereum blockchain that provides security for multiple services through restaking and validator mechanisms.
EthereumPOAP The blockchain used for the initial minting and issuance.
Fan TokensBlockchain-based digital assets created by sports teams, clubs, or brands to enhance fan engagement and provide specific benefits.
FilecoinUses blockchain to provide decentralized storage, enabling users to rent out unused storage space and earn cryptocurrency rewards.
FinalityThe assurance that a confirmed blockchain transaction cannot be changed, reversed, or canceled after completion.
Full NodeA computer that stores the blockchain and independently validates transactions and blocks according to network rules.
Gas feeThe on-chain transaction fee paid by the user in BNB is used to compensate validators for processing and confirming the transaction.
Gnosis ChainPOAP Later migrated to a low-cost, high-speed blockchain, with the issued badges stored on its chain.
Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC)A specialized messaging protocol adopted by the Cosmos ecosystem that enables independent blockchains to exchange assets without relying on a single centralized operator.
InteroperabilityThe ability of different blockchains to connect, communicate, and exchange assets and data.
Layer 1The underlying blockchain network that provides final settlement and foundational security for Layer 2.
Layer 1 and Layer 2Layer 1 is a base blockchain network, Layer 2 is a scaling network built on it, which can handle high-frequency activity and reduce usage costs.
Layer 2A secondary protocol or framework built on an existing blockchain to offload transaction processing, increase speed, and reduce costs.
Layer 2 SolutionRefers to scaling protocols built on top of existing blockchains that improve scalability through mechanisms such as state channels, sidechains, or rollups.
Layer-2A network architecture that returns settlement to the base chain and requires reliable data transmission with the base chain.
Mainnet SwapRefers to the process by which a crypto project migrates its assets from one blockchain to another, commonly to the project’s own native mainnet.
Messaging protocolsTransmitting data and instructions between different blockchains, enabling an application on one chain to trigger operations on another chain.
MultiplierAn on-chain elastic supply mechanism that automatically reflects corporate actions such as net dividend reinvestment and stock splits by adjusting bStock balances.
