Citi: Expects the Federal Reserve to October、December keep interest rates unchanged in 2027 year June and resume rate cuts

PANews September 24 reported, according to Cailian Press, that Citi expects the Federal Reserve to October keep interest rates unchanged and await more data to assess the impact of the policy rate increase of 25 basis points, after which it will remain on hold again in December. By then, a series of more moderate inflation readings should provide sufficient evidence that inflation is slowing, supporting the Federal Reserve in keeping interest rates unchanged again. As inflation continues to cool, Citi expects the Federal Reserve to 2027 year June resume rate cuts.
