According to a CoinDesk report cited by PANews, the Illinois state government has agreed to postpone the implementation date of the 0.2%crypto tax from January 1, 2027 to July 1, pending approval from the state circuit court. Litigation over the tax law’s compliance and constitutionality will continue.
