Inverse USD
Inverse USD is a stablecoin developed by Inverse Finance within the Monolith infrastructure framework and pegged to USD pegged stablecoin. The token is intended for use in decentralized finance applications, including lending markets, decentralized exchanges, liquidity pools, collateral systems, treasury operations, and other Ethereum-compatible financial applications. Through its smart contract-based architecture, Monolith provides infrastructure support for Inverse USD and related stablecoin systems; this architecture is intended to integrate with the broader decentralized finance ecosystem. Inverse USD is a stablecoin launched through Monolith and pegged to USD; Monolith is a permissionless stablecoin-as-a-service protocol developed within the Inverse Finance ecosystem. Monolith allows anyone to deploy overcollateralized and immutable stablecoins on Ethereum using standardized smart contract infrastructure designed for decentralized finance applications. Each stablecoin deployed through Monolith operates as an independent system, with its own ERC-20 token contract,ERC-4626 staking vault, and lender contracts, while sharing audited protocol infrastructure, including factory, lens, metadata, and interest rate model components. The protocol uses a dual-debt model consisting of redeemable 0%debt and interest-bearing non-redeemable debt. Monolith also includes an autonomous interest rate controller designed to support peg stability. Stablecoins deployed through this framework become fully immutable 4 years after deployment.
