Synthetix is a decentralized perpetual futures protocol built on Ethereum Mainnet.Synthetix uses a hybrid design—off-chain order matching on high-performance CLOB and on-chain settlement—achieving low latency, deep liquidity, and Ethereum-resistant execution while retaining custody and finality in MEV. Traders gain CEX-like performance, together with on-chain security and composability. The protocol's liquidity is provided by Synthetix Liquidity Provider (SLP) vaults and backed by staked SNX collateral; this collateral guarantees the issuance of the sUSD stablecoin and the solvency of SLP vaults.
