HASHCATS
HASHCATS is Robinhood a fully on-chain NFT collectible series, while $HASH is the token that powers its economy. Cats are not bought; they are mined: miners hash the previous cat's hash with their own address, a recent block anchor, and a nonce until the result falls below the network target—currently 35 bits, with the target retargeted every 8 mints. The winning hash determines the cat's traits, while the image, palette, and metadata are stored in contract storage and drawn by an on-chain renderer, so everything is independent of IPFS or servers. $HASH can only be created by burning a cat. Burning returns up to 1,000 $HASH; the return decreases as the collectible series enters later eras, so every surviving token is a certificate of proof-of-work already performed and of one __ removed from the supply. Apart from the genesis supply of __NFT minted once at deployment, no tokens have ever been created in any other way. 1,000,000 $HASH beyond that. $HASH trades in a Uniswap v4 liquidity pool with custom hooks against ETH. The hook charges 5% on each swap, a portion of each mint, 5% secondary-market sale royalties, and the inheritance of burned cats, queues these ETH to buy back $HASH from the market and burn them—spending at most __L1 per block, and rejecting any purchase that would move the price by more than 0.04 ETH, with 1% as the second burn channel, allowing anyone to burn $HASH and transform it into a cat with a name, color, and status tier; the third channel locks cats in a staking pool that pays rewards in $HASH.
