Harmony
Harmony The open, decentralized network of is enabled through the use of a native protocol token—Harmony ONE—. This token incentivizes and rewards various participants, including developers, validators/stakers, investors, and community members who develop, secure, and govern the network. To use the network, users must pay small transaction fees denominated in the native Harmony token.Harmony The scalable, high-throughput protocol of is powered by a native token that is used for various forms of payment and participation in the protocol (staking, transaction fees, voting, and governance).Harmony uses blockchain to align incentives among different stakeholders, developers, and enterprises, while allowing them to build open markets for fungible and non-fungible tokens and assets. In addition, the forthcoming application of zero-knowledge proofs will enable Harmony to become a data-sharing platform capable of overcoming the mutually conflicting issue that plagues many information and data markets: individual market participants do not trust one another and are unwilling to share data, yet strongly desire access to data themselves.Harmony tokens will play a role in the following aspects of the protocol: The token is used for staking, which is necessary to participate in POS consensus and earn block rewards and transaction fees. The token is used to pay transaction fees, gas fees, and storage fees. The token is used to vote on the protocol's on-chain governance.
