Sydney Paul

Sydney Paul is a partner on Andreessen Horowitz’s government affairs team, responsible for the firm’s work with Democratic members of the U.S. Senate. She entered the Washington policy field in 2012 and previously served as a legislative assistant to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation’s Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet. She subsequently served as senior legislative counsel to Senator Gary Peters for 4 years, overseeing technology, telecommunications, transportation, aviation, consumer protection, and science policy. In 2019, she joined Meta’s U.S. policy team, where she was responsible for communications with Democratic members across several Senate committees. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of the South in Sewanee and a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
