2FAAbbreviation for two-factor authentication, used to add an extra layer of verification when logging in or accessing resources.
Atomicals ProtocolAn open-source system for creating UTXO static or dynamic digital objects on blockchains that adopt the model.
DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service)A resource-exhaustion attack that can consume network or system resources; virtual machine isolation can increase the cost of an attack but cannot completely prevent this type of attack.
DeFi aggregatorA system that compares and connects multiple trading venues or liquidity sources to find more suitable execution routes for trades.
GasA unit used by certain networks to measure computational resources consumed during execution; the actual transaction fee also depends on factors such as the gas price.
Gas limitThe maximum amount of computational work that a single block can accommodate. Increasing it can increase block capacity, but also raises validation and resource requirements.
IP WhitelistIP A whitelist restricts API the access sources of the key to pre-approved IP addresses to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
IP Access RestrictionsPass IP Address Whitelist Restrictions API Access sources; only approved IP addresses can access the relevant account services.
LibraryA set of documented code, modules, files, or data resources that can be reused in software development.
M2M TradingTransactions in which machines exchange services, data, or resources with one another; devices can autonomously complete value exchanges through microtransactions.
Open-Source Software (OSS)Software whose source code is publicly available and that allows anyone to view, modify, or redistribute it.
Peer-to-Peer (P2P)A distributed network or computing architecture that allocates tasks or workloads among multiple peer computer systems, with participants jointly providing and using resources.
Permissive licensesA category of licenses that allows developers to reuse code in almost any project, including closed-source projects.
Source CodeA set of instructions consisting of lines of computer code, used to define how software will operate.
Weak handsRefers to traders or investors who lack the confidence, conviction, or resources to adhere to a holding plan and are prone to buying or selling based on emotions and short-term events.
closed-source softwareSoftware whose source code is not publicly available and that typically only its creator is authorized to modify or distribute.
miningMiners contribute computing resources to validate new blocks and may receive newly generated network tokens as rewards.
open-source softwareSoftware whose code anyone can inspect, use, and contribute to.
open-source software movementA movement advocating that most software adopt open-source licenses and improve technological quality through voluntary collaboration and sharing.
source codeComputer code that defines how software operates through a series of instructions.
MetadataInformation used to describe the characteristics, source, or structure of other data, thereby helping to locate, manage, and use data.
CryptojackingA malicious practice of using a device owner's computing resources for cryptocurrency mining without the owner's consent.
Real-time monitoringContinuously tracking system metrics, network traffic, user activity, or resource utilization to promptly detect anomalies.
ParallelizationA method of processing concurrent tasks simultaneously using multiple execution resources while maintaining consistent results.
Application chainA blockchain designed specifically for a single application or a particular function, with parameters and resource configurations that can be customized to meet its requirements.
EfficiencyMeasures the runtime and computational resources required for an algorithm to complete a task.
Digital signatureA cryptographic mechanism used to verify the source and integrity of messages and authorize transactions; it cannot by itself prevent double spending.
Smart RouterA routing function that seeks favorable prices and paths across multiple liquidity sources to optimize trade execution.
Bitcoin CoreThe name adopted by the original Bitcoin client software since 2014 is open-source software maintained by contributors worldwide.
Bitcoin minerA network participant that commits computational resources to solve mathematical problems, confirm transactions, and generate new blocks.
WormA program that can self-replicate and spread across systems without attaching to files or requiring human intervention, while potentially consuming substantial resources.
