[South Korea's NH NongHyup Bank explores cross-border asset payment and settlement services in partnership with MoonPay and Finger]

According to The Korea Economic Daily, South Korea's NH NongHyup Bank signed a business agreement with MoonPay and South Korean fintech company Finger on “financial services and infrastructure cooperation based on digital assets.” The three parties plan to jointly explore applications of digital assets in financial and payment scenarios. Key areas of cooperation include global digital-asset financial services such as personal overseas remittances and corporate payment settlement, integration between digital assets and card-based merchant payment infrastructure, connections between global digital-asset infrastructure and South Korea's domestic financial system, and joint technical validation (PoC) and commercialization feasibility assessments. Under the agreement, the three parties will use NongHyup Bank's financial infrastructure, MoonPay's global digital-asset network, and Finger's financial-platform technology to advance the concrete implementation of a global payment settlement model. A NongHyup Bank representative said the partnership is a new starting point for connecting global digital-asset infrastructure with South Korea's domestic financial services, and will enhance customer payment convenience and strengthen global digital-finance competitiveness.
