SpaceX First attempt to simultaneously recover Starship and booster next month

PANews October 21 According to The Verge,SpaceX CEO Musk announced during the company's third-quarter earnings call that SpaceX next month, it will for the first time attempt to use the launch tower to catch the Starship spacecraft and the Super Heavy booster, recovering the entire orbital launch system. Musk said that, if successful, this would be the first full recovery of an orbital launch vehicle in history. He stated that success is “not guaranteed” in this attempt, but the odds of success are greater; flight tests will continue through year-end, with frequency accelerating next year. During last month's Starship launch, a Raptor engine shut down prematurely, shortening the mission from the planned 6 orbits to 2 orbits, and neither stage was recovered.
