U.S.-listed Securitize rose nearly 8%,LG CNS Partnership seeks to capture South Korea’s security tokenization market

BlockBeats reported that October 7, according to BIT market data from (bit.com), the security tokenization platform Securitize announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korean technology company LG CNS to explore products including tokenized funds, stocks, and stablecoins, and to promote the adoption of tokenized assets and digital asset infrastructure by South Korean financial institutions. After the announcement, Securitize (SECZ) rose nearly 8%to approximately 12.60 USD, before giving back some of its gains.

South Korea’s Financial Services Commission proposed a regulatory framework for security tokenization last week, planning to regulate the issuance and circulation of securities such as tokenized stocks, bonds, and funds from 2027 February onward.LG CNS also launched a blockchain infrastructure platform during the same period to provide banks and financial institutions with support related to stablecoins and tokenized securities.

Securitize has become an important platform in the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), and the market is currently valued at approximately 40000000000 USD. As traditional financial institutions accelerate their exploration of on-chain stocks, the tokenized stock market grew by 30 days 10.6%, reaching approximately 3200000000 USD。Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo previously stated that even limited adoption of tokenized stocks could significantly expand the size of the crypto market.
