Tether MDK received support from 15 industry participants to advance interoperability and AI automation
BlockBeats reported that October 24，Tether stated that, including mining farm operators,ASIC manufacturers, and mining pools, 15 industry participants have committed to jointly building and maintaining integrations with its Mining Developer Toolkit (MDK).MDK is an open-source framework designed to improve interoperability among different mining infrastructures and support AI-driven automation.
The participating companies will build and maintain MDK Worker adapters, converting existing interfaces of their hardware, mining pools, or systems into a unified interface. Companies do not need to replace their existing technology or relinquish control of their systems, and can choose which functions to provide through open interfaces.
Once the adapters are complete, developers can build applications, monitoring systems, or MDK for AI Agent, without separately developing integrations for each equipment manufacturer and mining pool.Tether stated that this will lay the foundation for cross-vendor equipment monitoring, fault identification, performance optimization, and future autonomous operations, while reducing duplicated development work and reliance on a single supplier.
