Pi Official integration OSC 7501,Agent No more guessing terminal status

Beating news AI flash: Ghostty creator Mitchell Hashimoto recently proposed a new terminal status protocol OSC 7501. It allows programs to proactively tell the terminal whether they are working, waiting for user input, finished, or have encountered an error, so the terminal no longer needs to infer this from screen content. Rex already has preliminary support, and the open-source Coding Agent Pi is also 1.1.0 officially integrated.Pi will ask the terminal at startup whether it supports OSC 7501, and will send status only after confirming support.Agent reports working when running or compressing context; it reports blocked when the user needs to handle a dialog box or sign in; done when a task ends; error for non-retryable errors; and returns to idle after the user actively cancels.Pi does not send prompts or model output to the terminal. Status messages include only necessary information, such as the session name, dialog title, or the first line of an error.
