Bonk Guy: Has never accepted paid shilling and will continue sharing his holdings and market views
BlockBeats reported on September 22 that well-known trader Bonk Guy posted that his X account had been locked 1 week earlier because he published a post about the Arc blockchain. X required him to add a “Paid Partnership” label to the post; otherwise, his account could not be restored. The post mentioned the three brands Arc, Long, and Fomo. He had never interacted with Arc, first contacted Long only after the post was published, and had always publicly disclosed his referral-link relationship with Fomo. He emphasized that he had received no payment or partnership from Arc or Long.
Bonk Guy said that after looking into the matter further, he found that X appeared to require posts containing referral links to use the “Paid Partnership” label. Although he believed the label was inaccurate, he had decided to comply with the relevant rules and resume using X. He again denied ever accepting paid shilling and revealed that Pumpfun had invited him to trade on its platform approximately 1 month earlier, and later proposed collaborations including serving as a product advisor, but he rejected all of them. He said the reasons for refusing included differences in values, his belief that the other party had previously launched a public-opinion attack against him, and the fact that he did not need to earn income through such collaborations.
Bonk Guy said that in the future he would still enter into commercial partnerships concerning products he recognized and believed would benefit his followers, provided that he genuinely wanted to use the products, was willing to endorse them, and fully disclosed the partnership relationships. He said that his main reason for returning to X was that he did not want to be “removed from the platform.” He would also comply with X’s existing rules and said he had been “holding it in for 1 week” and was ready to continue sharing his holdings, trades, and market views.
