Memory manufacturer Nanya Technology raises DRAM contract prices again, with the maximum increase potentially reaching 20%Beating Flash News,AI According to Taiwanese media reports, Taiwan-based memory manufacturer Nanya Technology has recently notified customers in succession that it will raise DRAM contract prices again, with the maximum increase potentially reaching 20%. Regarding the relevant market rumors, Nanya Technology responded that it would not comment on matters related to customer quotations. Industry sources believe that the new round of price increases may gradually be passed through to the market, lifting Nanya Technology's average selling price (ASP) and profitability.

TrendForce forecasts that in the 2026 fourth quarter of DRAM, overall supply will remain below demand, while standard DRAM contract prices will rise quarter over quarter by 10%to 15%; consumer-grade DRAM prices will continue rising because major manufacturers are continuing production cuts and supply is highly dependent on Taiwan-based manufacturers.AI Growing demand for computing power is continuing to drive demand for server DRAM and HBM, while advanced-process capacity is being tilted toward high-performance products, further constraining the supply flexibility of conventional DRAM. Samsung,SK SK hynix, and Micron have all recently expanded or adjusted DRAM、HBM-related capacity and packaging plans.

Micron CEO previously stated that, amid continued demand growth and limited new capacity, it has not yet seen DRAM a clear inflection point for supply and demand to return to balance, and expects HBM demand growth to continue outpacing conventional DRAM through 2028.
