According to Beijing Daily, 2026 The Financial Street Forum Annual Meeting will be held on October 19 to 22 at Beijing Financial Street, with global 40 guests from multiple countries and regions 400 guests expected to attend. This is the fifteenth meeting. Approved by the State Council, its theme is “Openness · Cooperation · Inclusiveness—Jointly Building a New Ecosystem for Global Financial Development.” The annual meeting plans to hold a total of 21 thematic events and 3 special conferences. Among them, the Insurance Conference will be hosted by the National Financial Regulatory Administration for the first time, while the Investment Conference will make its debut, forming a special-conference matrix together with the Fintech Conference. More than achievements, including a credit risk-control strategy sandbox agent and a quantum-fusion algorithm intelligent evolution platform, will be released for the first time. The annual meeting will expand to an Africa subvenue for the first time and establish a three-city connection among Beijing, Hong Kong, and London for the first time, while holding 5 overseas subvenue 7 events in Hong Kong, London, Paris, Toronto, and Nairobi. The Fintech Conference 2026 will further innovate its format and expand its scale, with 13 thematic events organized around frontier topics such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and digital-intelligence finance. The People's Bank of China will host the Fangcheng Financial Technology Forum within the meeting framework and hold a seminar on financial applications of artificial intelligence and risk prevention and control, while continuing to hold a series of activities including the Financial Technology Application Scenario Competition. It plans to release the central bank-side digital CNY system and digital CNY smart contract ecosystem service framework, among other related achievements.
