Mysten Labs Announces partnership with Google Cloud to launch a verifiable AI agent arbiter

BlockBeats news,October 6, according to an official announcement,Mysten Labs today announced a partnership with Google Cloud to launch a Verifiable Agent Arbiter (VAA). The system was jointly developed as an evidence layer, designed to help enterprises demonstrate that their AI agents are performing tasks within their authorized scope. As AI agents begin executing transactions, negotiating with other agents, and operating across enterprise boundaries,VAA can provide enterprises with an activity record that can be verified independently of the platform that generated it.

Currently, enterprises want to deploy AI agents in production environments, but such applications are constrained by the lack of activity records that can be trusted by counterparties, auditors, or regulators.VAA is intended to provide such records and help enterprises meet forthcoming regulatory requirements, including the EU Artificial Intelligence Act. Starting in 2027, the Act will impose fines of up to 15000000 EUR or 3%of an enterprise's global annual turnover for logging failures.VAA separates AI agent activity records from proofs of their integrity. Detailed telemetry data, including prompts, model outputs, tool calls, and policy decisions, will remain private in customer-controlled Google Cloud Storage; cryptographic proofs of those records will be stored on Walrus, a data platform built for AI application needs, and coordinated through the Layer 1 blockchain Sui.
