On-chain treasury protocol Ducat announces a phased shutdown and will enable asset redemptions

BlockBeats reported that October 26, the on-chain treasury protocol Ducat announced that, after careful consideration, the team has decided to gradually wind down the protocol.Ducat was originally intended to maintain a price floor through its mechanism, but many participants never fully understood it. During the protocol shutdown, the team will demonstrate that Ducat is fully backed by treasury assets, with each Ducat carrying a pro rata right to the protocol's treasury assets. All claims involving DUCAT treasury assets, including vested bonds, vested Pass rewards, staked pDUCAT, pDUCAT in the cooldown period, and circulating DUCAT in wallets, may be redeemed without waiting for the cooldown period to end.Ducat stated that the team has taken a snapshot of DUCAT holders. Holders included in the snapshot may redeem the corresponding fair value of Ducat from the protocol treasury;Ducat purchased through liquidity pools after the snapshot are not eligible for redemption. The team has also updated the front end to help users complete redemptions.
