Injective Releases a new whitepaper focused on institutional-grade finance and tokenization
BlockBeats reports that,October 7,Injective released a new whitepaper, marking the first comprehensive rewrite since 2018’s initial edition in December. The initial edition focused on a front-running-resistant trading protocol on Ethereum, while the new edition positions Injective as a Layer 1 for institutional-grade finance and asset tokenization, covering the full lifecycle of tokenized assets from issuance and trading to settlement.
The whitepaper introduces native RWA tokenization mechanisms, with role-based permissions for minting, sending, receiving, and burning;iAssets provides derivatives that track external assets through stablecoin margin and oracle pricing, without wrapping or pre-funding. Tokenized assets trade on a fully on-chain central limit order book, with sealed high-frequency batch auctions conducted every block and cleared at a uniform price to resist front-running and transaction-ordering MEV。BFT consensus provides deterministic finality, with block times of approximately 600 milliseconds.
The new edition also covers native EVM and WASM sharing the same state, perpetual contract risk management, and AI agent finance. Agents can use MCP servers, policy-constrained signatures, and USDC-denominated x402 machine payment operations to transact in tokenized assets. On-chain protocol revenue will flow to regularly conducted INJ community buybacks.
