Kalshi Progress on the “fabricated” trading volume incident: parties involved KOL calling for evidence from across the internet Kalshi“hard evidence” of misconduct

BlockBeats reported that September 21, who previously publicly questioned Kalshi quantitative analyst Beni posted on social media, calling for “Kalshi formal evidence of misconduct,” requiring screenshots, emails, data, timestamps, and other “hard evidence.”

BlockBeats previously reported that Beni had publicly questioned Kalshi platform’s allegedly fabricated crypto futures trading volume, saying that with ETH-PERP in open interest on the platform, 3100000 USD 24-hour trading volume reached 538600000 USD, equivalent to the entire open position being turned over approximately 174 times per day, or an average turnover once every 8 minutes and 18 seconds.

Afterward,Kalshi head of crypto IcoBeast.eth responded, saying that Artemis’s data charts show the share of prediction-market trading volume, rather than perpetual futures trading volume. However, the discussion also extended to the prediction-market segment, with KOL claiming that approximately Kalshi of 61%publicly disclosed trading volume comes from “multi-event parlay bets”; the actual trading volume of parlay bets may be only 7.1%of the parlay-bet amount publicly reported.
