DeFi protocols Camelot and Cypher merge into Frontier, focusing on Uniswap v4 infrastructure
BlockBeats reported on September 22 that DeFi protocols Camelot and Cypher announced their integration under the new brand Frontier, focusing on building programmable market infrastructure based on Uniswap v4. The two projects had previously processed over 100 billion USD in spot trading volume on Arbitrum and Ethereum and supported the launch of over 45 projects. The team stated that after years of practice, it had decided to abandon the independent AMM path and fully transition to Uniswap v4's Hooks mechanism to build a more comprehensive market and ecosystem support layer.
15% of the total supply of Frontier's FRONT token will be allocated to Camelot and Cypher holders. GRAIL, xGRAIL, CYPH, and xCYPH holders have a 30-day migration window, and users may also choose to redeem their tokens for USDC at the 7-day TWAP price before the announcement.
Frontier has launched on Robinhood Chain and will subsequently expand to Ethereum mainnet, Arbitrum, and other networks. Camelot and Cypher will gradually cease independent operations and be consolidated into the Frontier ecosystem.
