BlockBeats reported that Onchain Lens detected BlackRock transferring 37,470 tokens ETH from its ETF wallet to Coinbase Prime。
The report estimated that this batch of ETH was worth approximately 83300000 USD。
The evidence does not specify the subsequent use of the transfer or whether it involved a sale.
The following is analysis, separate from reported facts. Verify important claims independently.
This was a large-scale transfer from BlackRock's ETF wallet to Coinbase Prime involving a substantial amount of ETH tokens. Transfer to a trading platform does not mean that a sale has already occurred; the funds may also be used for custody, settlement, or other institutional operations.
Large inflows of funds into trading platforms may affect market sentiment, but there is currently insufficient evidence regarding subsequent flows and the purpose of the transaction, so the actual impact cannot be confirmed.
Beginners should distinguish between “transfer to a trading platform” and “already sold,” and should not conclude solely from a single on-chain transfer that ETH will inevitably decline.
